Privacy Policy

Kept Showing Up ("Kept Showing Up", "we", "us") provides software for personal trainers, coaches, and individuals to plan and track workouts, nutrition, and progress. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address, password credentials, and optional phone number. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider (Supabase), which stores your login credentials securely on our behalf.

Coaching and fitness data. Workouts, sets and weights, programs, nutrition and macro entries, body measurements and body composition, progress photos you choose to upload, habits, check-ins, intake form answers, and messages between a trainer and client.

Billing information. Subscription status and payment records. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

Technical information. Device and browser information, IP address, and basic usage logs used to keep the service secure and working.

How We Use It

We use your information to create and operate your account, deliver coaching features you or your trainer request, generate programs and nutrition targets, process payments, send service and account communications, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. If you are a client of a trainer on the platform, your coaching data is visible to that trainer so they can coach you. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Security

Data is stored in managed, access-controlled databases with row-level security policies that restrict each record to the account that owns it and, where applicable, that account's trainer. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Files such as progress photos and signed documents are held in private storage accessible only through short-lived signed links. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Your Choices

You can view and update your profile at any time, opt out of SMS by replying STOP, unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in those messages, and request a copy or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your personal profile and coaching records, subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Children's Privacy

Kept Showing Up is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Minors between 13 and 18 may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

SMS / Text Messaging Privacy

Kept Showing Up may disclose personal data and other information as follows:

• Third parties that help provide the messaging service: We won't share your opt-in to an SMS short code campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign. We may share your personal data with third parties that help us provide the messaging service, including, but not limited to, platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in delivering text messages.
• Additional disclosures — affiliates: We may disclose personal data to our affiliates or subsidiaries. If we do, their use and disclosure of your personal data will be subject to this policy.

All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out at any time. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
